About Amy Davila

Before moving to Los Angeles in 2008, Amy Davila worked her way from an assistant at Haines Gallery in San Francisco to a director at David Zwirner in New York. Prior to entering the art world, Amy worked as an international tax consultant for Ernst & Young LLP in Houston and San Francisco. Amy holds an M.B.A. in Tax & Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.

ArtSmart began in 2011 and is the culmination of Amy’s two decades of
experience working with some of the most prestigious art institutions and artists at varying stages of their careers.

Amy works with artists, galleries, art organizations and foundations to help educate, empower and create organization and focus around The ArtSmart Method.

The ArtSmart Method embraces the idea that the best art thrives in an abundant environment. The right choices can be made for the right reasons in a strong, supported and financially independent atmosphere. The art isn’t compromised because the artist isn’t compromised.

Amy is also faculty at Claremont Graduate University and the Sotheby’s
Institute and lectures at the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, NY, the
School of Visual Arts, NY and Azusa Pacific University, CA.
